Open FUNdraiser – Brown Bag Food Project

Join us on Tuesday, February 9 at 6:00pm for a FUNdraiser for the Brown Bag Food Project.

This wonderful non-profit in Wood County provides 3-4 days worth of food and toiletries to families in urgent need. 14.8% of residents in Wood County struggle with food insecurity and are unsure of where their next meal is going to come from. The Brown Bag Food Project addresses the emergency, immediate need food with 24 hour availability and delivery to people without transportation. We offer a well balanced assortment of both perishable and non perishable items while being able to address any specific dietary restrictions our clients may have. We also provide them with toiletries such as tooth brushes, toilet paper and feminine hygiene products since food stamps do not cover these items. Most importantly we do not deny service to anyone in Wood County and do everything we can to make sure every person is treated with dignity and respect.

We will be donating 50% of all registration proceeds to this great cause, so sign up today before the class fills up. In addition to registration proceeds, we will be raffling off a few great prizes and the Brown Bag Food Project will be bringing some Valentine’s Day treats with 100% of the proceeds of both going to their organization.

We’ll be painting the “Love Grows Here” design, so grab your friends and your favorite beverages and get ready for a fun (and charitable) evening!
