Q: What is Pints ‘N’ Paints?
Pints ‘N’ Paints is a fun paint and sip party experience where you can discover your inner artist while having a good time with your friends. We encourage you to bring in your favorite lite snacks and/or beverages while you follow along with our instructor’s step-by-step instructions. Participants over the age of 21 can bring beer or wine. No hard liquor, please.

The classes last from 2 to 3 hours and are fun, fun, fun! Not only will you go home with great art but also with a feeling of accomplishment. It is the perfect place for a girls’ nights out, date nights, team-building events, special celebrations such as showers or birthdays, or join us for a simple night of fun.

DressQ: How old do class participants need to be? 
A: We ask that all open painting session participants are 18 or older. Teens 15-17 are welcome to attend with an adult. For all classes we have a no watchers, no children policy. Of course, you must be 21 or older to consume alcohol. For private parties, we prefer that all guests are age 13 and up. We want to make sure that our adults are able to have a good time, enjoy a glass of beer or wine and enjoy a few hours away from the kids.

Q: Do I need to make reservations? 
A: Yes. You must make a reservation by phone (863-588-0102) with a credit card. If we have a no show/no cancellation, the credit card that holds the reservation will be charged.  We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover cards.

Q: How much does a class cost? 
A: Classes are generally $25-30 per person. For the cost of one Social Artworking course, you will be instructed for 2-3 hours on brush basics and methodology that will enable you to create your own masterpiece. You will also have use of all of the supplies necessary to complete the painting and go home with a ready-to-hang canvas.

Q: How do I select what piece I get to paint in my class?
Each course focuses on a particular painting. Select the piece you would like and then consult our schedule to see when it is being taught. If you
have a large group that wants to do a particular painting, we can try and work with you to accommodate your wishes.

Q: I can no longer attend. What is your cancellation policy? 
A: We have a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you cannot attend, please cancel your reservation online or by calling us at 419-874-3334. If  you don’t show up or cancel within 24 hours, the credit card that holds the reservation will still be charged.

Q: Is there a minimum number of people needed to have a class?
A: We prefer to have no less than 6 people per class. If not enough people have registered for the class, we reserve the right to cancel. In the event that this happens, we will give you a call the day before the class to let you know. Maybe you’ll be able to recruit a friend to paint with you! If the class you reserve is cancelled, we can issue you a refund/credit or get you scheduled for another upcoming class.

Q: What should I wear? 
A: Wear something comfortable and paint-friendly. We do provide aprons, but painting is inherently a little messy and can end up on clothes or shoes, even with the best intentions. Acrylic paints are easy-to wash out when wet, but do become permanent when dry. Please keep that in mind!

WineGlassQ: Can we bring food and beverages? 
A: Definitely! We want you to have a great time! Feel free to bring snacks and the beverages of your choice. Pints ‘n’ Paints is BYOB.  Feel free to bring snacks.  Must be 21 and older to consume alcohol. For events held at a location other than your home or business, please consult with them regarding any rules about bringing in outside food or drinks.

Q: What time should I arrive for class? 
A: Please arrive at least 15 minutes before class starts to register and get your canvas. However, if you want to eat, drink and be merry (strongly encouraged) have your party arrive 30 minutes before the start of class.

Q: When do you post a new monthly schedule? 
A: New classes are posted on a rolling basis, usually about 4-6 weeks in advance.

Q: What size is the canvas and what kind of paint do you use?
A: Our canvases are 16″ x 20″ and we use high-quality acrylic paints.

Q: Do I need to have painting or drawing experience? 
A: Absolutely not! Don’t be intimidated by the designs, even if you have never painted before. In fact, most of our class participants say that they haven’t painted since they were in school. As far as we are concerned, this is a painting class and not a drawing class, so don’t worry about that either. We sketch the important/tricky parts on to the canvas for you before you begin!

We’ll walk you through each design, step-by-step, to help make things easier.  Pints ‘n’ Paints is all about having a good time and a good drink with your friends. Even if you have zero experience, you’ll still be able to walk away with your very own work of art.

That being said, if you do have artistic experience, we also welcome you to join us. While the projects are designed to be easy enough for beginners, some are more challenging than others. You can also feel free to experiment with the design and come up with a finished painting that’s uniquely yours!

Q: Will my painting be dry enough to take home by the end of the class? 
A: Acrylic dries very quickly so your painting will be dry and ready for transport when you are ready to leave. If there are a few damp places, hair dryers will be available to quickly finish them.

Q: Do you offer gift cards?
A: YES! Gift cards to Pints ‘n’ Paints are available. You can buy them for a single class or any other dollar amount.  You can purchase them at one of our classes or call us at 863-588-0102 to purchase over the phone. Purchased gift certificates do NOT expire! Donated gift certificates expire 6 months from the date issued.
